Line up in an I formation fake to the freaking tail back and rifle the ball 20 yards down field for the completion. McKee has a big time arm. It’s his biggest attribute. Allow him to use it. Slow mesh doesn’t. It sucks.
McKee does have a cannon. He needs to air it out.

He needs an OL that can give him enough time to air it out...that's not happening here anytime soon
Certainly not in the Slow-Mesh. I just can’t understand why. They don’t have the personnel. If they had a Bryce Love type - a home run hitter - than perhaps it makes some sense. Certainly that would draw attention, hold the linebackers etc. Without that threat, why worry about the run? So, what happens is it gets crowded (which I believe is a factor in the batted balls) there isn’t much of a pocket and he doesn’t have time to throw downfield.

Not to mention Harry, Lassiter, Moore, Tyler, Fleener….
Wilson might have been special. Unfortunately didn’t get the opportunity as he was derailed by injuries. One of my many pet peeves is the over hypin* that constantly comes from the broadcast booth. There was a pitch and catch for ASU early on. Nice throw and catch, no question. But the announcer raved about the “tremendous “ catch. It’s over the top. It’s constant And to me, it ruins the broadcast.
