The problem is us.  I mean, I was one of the empty seats at the Stadium on Saturday, and I would venture that many of the people on this thread aghast at the lack of attendance were too.

The problem is not us. The problem is that Stanford as a whole is not putting a compelling offering out there for consumers to enjoy. The school, the athletic department, and the team are all complicit in diminishing what was once a worthwhile experience.

I'll never forget the ND game Toby's senior year Thanksgiving weekend. We had a house full of east coast relatives. All of them over 7 yrs old wanted one of our five tickets. The game itself was electric. Toby, Toby, Toby they shouted, and ran off to by Stanford gear.
