I think we have a great chance at Juju and Hidalgo. I don’t know if any of the seniors want to come back, but landing both would take away that option for them.
With Watkins S.Carolina has the worst chance imo. That lifestyle change is just too much.
Southern Cal is probably where she wants to go, but my guess is that a player at her level wants nattys. She’s a phenomenal player, but they don’t get a natty just because she shows up. They don’t become a contender because of her, they become a decent team with a world class guard.
Stanford and Arizona are probably the only two options at a ring, and either would be fantastic choices.
Two advantages Arizona has imo are that she’s knows and has played with many of the ladies headed there. Although, you never know, that might not be a positive. The second advantage for Arizona is style of play. Stanford is all about the system. I think that’s one reason they struggle recruiting the highest level guards. Most big time AAU guards like to create scoring opportunities on their own and the Cardinal style isn’t really built that way.
Finally, who doesn’t love Adia?
Stanford advantages:
1. Being in CA
2. Knowing there is a hole after Jones leaves that she can fill.
3. Education (I believe Juju is a very strong student academically)
It’s a toss up.
My crystal ball says we get at least one of them (Hidalgo or Watkins). Both would be wild and very possible but that level of lick is tough.
Last comment. MAYBE AZ isn’t even in the mix. The article after a recent Sierra Canyon press conf said she’s only considering 3. (SCar had a visit, she’s been at SCal many times, and maybe Stanford is option 3. If that’s the case, she’ll be in Palo Alto next season imo)

She'd be quite the get to vill the void of Haley Jones, and pair with last year's #1 in Lauren Betts moving forward.
I could see her electing to go to Arizona to really form a super-class and with her competitors in the LA scene in 2023 Cunningham and 2023 Williams. There seems to be a strong pull to USC too. So therefore odds look good for her staying out West. Would hate to lose her to South Carolina of all places.
South Carolina is the outlier with how much she’s repeatedly mentioned wanting to stay close to home and the 3 others finalists being Pac12 members. Arizona is pretty loaded and already has the #1 recruiting class even without her. USC seems like the most obvious choice IMO. I hope she takes an official visit to Stanford before deciding and we can make a late push. Image her with Lauren Betts and our other supporting cast! Wow. Also, interesting no UCLA.
She would be dumb to pick SC - they have a revolving door of transfers out. Stanford will be her obvious choice and maybe why Prosper is no longer in the mix.
