The problem is not us. The problem is that Stanford as a whole is not putting a compelling offering out there for consumers to enjoy. The school, the athletic department, and the team are all complicit in diminishing what was once a worthwhile experience.
It all went downhill after they banned beer from the stadium.
When was that? It was gradual, right? I remember they instituted the "six pack ban" in 1987 (couldn't bring in more than a six pack and you had to be over 21). When did the stadium go booze-free? 1990?
