Was it Juju who had an article from a few years ago calling Stanford her dream school or am I confusing her with another LA prospect in one of these classes?

Here is a different link that I think is pretty old. I remember seeing it at least a couple years ago. She does say Stanford is where she hopes to continue her education.

Watkins is so so so good. How many HS players get NIL deals with Nike? If she picks us, we probably become title favorites immediately with our all supporting cast talent. She is program changing good and will make an impact right away.

I’m trying to think of a comp for Watkins but I don’t think Stanford has ever had a pure scorer like her. The best comp I can think of is Maya Moore.

I agree 100%. She reminds me of Maya Moore. She’s a much better perimeter shooter than Haley Jones. Some years the top recruit in the class is  great but less impactful. I see Watkins as very impactful anywhere she goes. She will be a WNBA star some day. I really think so.
