Jones and Watkins are different kinds of players. Jones is special because of her versatility. She reminds me of WNBA star Alyssa Thomas who is not the best shooter but is still a great player. Perhaps a better example of a top high school player who struggled to make a big impact in college (even though she was still a very good player) was UConn’s Megan Walker.
