Generally I feel more warm and fuzzy about those who keep a lower profile on the recruiting trail, not just for Stanford's sake (and I think a low profile is generally more favorable for us), but because I appreciate the manner in which the recruit chooses to take control of their life and have the recruiting process on their own terms. This sentiment swings more toward Watkins than Hidalgo here, but I am going to be happy to root for both, no matter where they go -- except when they play Stanford.
