Peterson should be the obvious 1st pick but not sure he'll do it. Read an article in Athletic about his soul searching and issues with how frenetic the college game is, even off season. I guess one could say Stanford recruiting is easier because we target far fewer players than Washington and probably have a higher get rate.

What about Tom Herman?  He didn't light it up at Texas but still had nothing but winning seasons both at Houston and Texas. Texas had a losing season year before he took over. Got fired due to high expectations at Texas. Went to high school and college in CA.
