In his first five seasons after he returned to Dartmouth from Stanford, Teevens went 9-43. Percentage-wise, he actually did worse his first five seasons at Dartmouth than he did at Stanford (10-23). And BTW? Teevens was improving at Stanford. He was 2-9 his first year, and only one of his losses was by a TD or less. Year two, he was 4-7 with, again, one loss by a TD or less. By year 3, he was again 4-7, but four of his losses were by a TD or less, including 3 point losses to #1 USC and #23 ASU.
