Troy Taylor's time as an OC at Utah was anything but successful and his departure was not voluntary. You could blame it on a clash of ideas with the head coach, but that does not make it a success. He may well be a very good head coaching choice at Stanford but it won't be because of anything that happened at Utah, other than perhaps experience handling a "difficult" situation in a classy manner.
