Assuming that the name will still be that of someone still playing, who does that leave?  While I suppose Troy Taylor could announce right before a of immense proportions game, but it seems quite unlikely.

The 5-7 Rice Owls are playing in the LendingTree Bowl in Mobile on the 17th, so they are still in season and playing. . . .
