Interesting on Verlhurst. We recruited her. Kampschroeder was another in that class. She started at Oregon State and is now at Michigan. We were in her final 3. Unless Oregon State suddenly turns  things around, it would not surprise me if VonOelhoffen is in the portal after this season. I would take her as a transfer.

Is there any reason to think any could get in as a transfer? As a reminder, our transfer admit rate is something like 3-4% and in some years is as few as 20 or 30 (many of whom are nontraditional students and vets). If they aren't already Academic All-Americans I would essentially assume the answer is they could not. :)

We have had players transfer out the past two seasons so will cautiously wait and see what happens after this season. We may have openings even if Fran and Hannah return. I'm just speculating on VonOehlofen -she was heavily recruited by Stanford and accepted but just chose to go elsewhere. Other than Jordan Hamilton; no other transfers in I can recall. It's kind of a shame as the portal has changed athletics so much and maybe someone who initially didn't pick Stanford needed that extra time to figure out Stanford is where they want to be. I wish we could be a contender and option for those kids we initially recruited and were accepted to Stanford.
