I agree with the Fogmeister 100%. Shaw's decision to have the frosh (who had been having trouble with his kicking earlier) kick was one of the worst decisions in major college football history.

Williamson tore his groin practicing onside kicks just before the USC game. Whitaker filled in. Williamson was not recovered by the time of the bowl game. It was a poor decision to put the game on him.
