As I posted elsewhere, great players are only sometimes good coaches, and Luck has no experience at all coaching.

That's obviously true, on both counts. There is no guarantee that someone from ANY category of candidate will necessarily be a good coach, whether s/he was a great player, a mediocre player, a non-player, experienced or inexperienced, charismatic or uncharismatic, etc., etc., etc.
