For what it's worth, and from what I can tell, Taylor seems more interested in Oregon- or K-State-esque spread offenses, where the goal is to open up running lanes, rather than your Mike Leach endless passing offenses. But some of that may be making a virtue from necessity -- from what I can tell his Sac State QBs were not overly talented throwers. He may have different thoughts about how to approach offense when given a Stanford-type recruiting pipeline.
Good. Tempo is always an issue. Up tempo is fine. But those old style Oregon super up tempo - I think that would be disastrous at Stanford.
Daniels and Patu should welcome this, I would think.
