In ancient days of yore,
When football was a sport for the bold,
There lived a man named Troy Taylor,
Whose passion and ambition never grew old.
He grew up in the heartland of America,
Where the fields were green and the skies were blue,
And from a young age, he knew
That football was his calling, through and through.
He trained and practiced day and night,
His determination never faltered,
And as he grew, his skill and might
Became the stuff of legend and chatter.
He led his team to victory,
And his reputation grew with every win,
Until one day, the call came to him,
To become the coach of Stanford football's kin.
And so he took the reins,
And with his guidance, the team did thrive,
Their victories piled up in heaps,
And their spirit soared to the sky.
Troy Taylor became a legend,
A master of strategy and might,
And under his leadership,
Stanford football reached new heights.
So let this epic poem serve
As a testament to his great deeds,
For Troy Taylor is a hero,
And his legacy forever heeds.
