That would have had nothing to do with Stanford not securing any QB commits for several years after West and McKee committed or slumming with Patu and Daniels. I do think it's a reasonable question for the 2023 class and perhaps a significant part of not getting Lonergan, but the difference between Lonergan and Jackson isn't all that great. I think the main reason we're not getting top 100 QBs is that we stink as a program. Keep in mind that Pritchard-Loukas-Kiilsgaard were the same era.....when we stunk. Stanford's QB recruiting dips when we have a crap product to sell.
