Anyone have a recap from behind the bench or chalktalk? This was a tough game after a 2 week break. Remember, Tennessee was preseason top 4 team so they have a ton of talent. They just haven't put it all together but were expected to be a Final 4 contending team. 

A win is a win. I think our team knows we didn't play our best. Need more scoring from the bench especially. Better FT shooting. Jump, Jones, and Brink were awesome.

Who is the leader on the floor who "demands" that the team step it up  and play its best? 

I don't see anyone out there who has taken the responsibility to do that, the "team captain/leader" if you will.

I think Brink clearly leads by example. When she was on the floor, we were very good in the fourth. I thought Jones and Jump also led by their play when it was needed. If you are talking vocal leader, I was not at the game today so I don't know who was leading huddles, keeping the team together etc. 

I thought we might try some different defenses to mix things up in the second half. We literally played one possession of full court defense/trapping and Tennessee made a 3 pointer and that was the end of that.  I think we could be a decent zone team. Tennessee is not gonna light it up from distance but that didn't happen either. Changes defense to ignite your offense. We needed that to happen in the dreadful third quarter. 

Creighton is the ultimate 3 point shooting team so we will need to guard the perimeter well to beat them.
