They're clearly looking at pure rushing yards, where Sanders and Pollard are ahead of him, so let's not make this into something larger.  An RB who can play WR and an WR who can play RB may be what every team looks for and needs now, but there's no spot for it currently in Pro Bowl voting.  Probably should be.

More fuel to your fire... Deebo Samuel only made the Pro Bowl last year because the first half of the year he had big receiving yard numbers. If he had performed in the first half are a receiver as he did the second last year, he never would have made the Pro Bowl as a WR. The fact he did so much as a RB in the second half added to his fame, but didn't factor into his Pro Bowl selection for the reasons you stated. WRs make it based on receiving yards. RBs make it based on rushing yards. That said, I still think McCaffrey's recent injury history and Carolina sucking early were big factors in his Pro Bowl snub. If he played on the Niners and produced as he has since joining Niners, he'd have been voted to Pro Bowl, IMO. He is just too much of an offensive weapon to not be considered a Pro Bowl player, regardless of not having league leading rushing stats.

Agreed.  I didn't hear anything about him pre-trade.  Now I can't turn the TV on without a story about how much he's helping the 49ers.  Granted living in the Bay Area probably is a big factor there, but it seems the case even with national stories.  No one is following the Panthers this year.
