They're clearly looking at pure rushing yards, where Sanders and Pollard are ahead of him, so let's not make this into something larger.  An RB who can play WR and an WR who can play RB may be what every team looks for and needs now, but there's no spot for it currently in Pro Bowl voting.  Probably should be.

HOF voting is voting for the player; you can look at the totality of their career without limiting them to a single statistic.  Pro Bowl voting is voting for the position, and the voters (who no one ever claimed were geniuses) are clearly voting for a single statistic for the RB position and not considering other things.
