Maybe just dump Poole at the deadline to a contender willing to assume his long term salary obligation. Appease Draymond and avoid a big chunk of tax next year without giving up a starter or breaking up the “core.”  Since Poole is still on his rookie deal, the Warriors would not need to take much salary in return. After one more season, Draymond and Klay could re-sign for closer to market comp to close out their careers with Curry. The team wouldn’t be likely to contend again soon, but it wouldn’t break the bank and it would be a fun team to watch fight for a playoff spot. Last year was lightening in a bottle. Another title was too much to ask.
