I don't "hate" UConn, but I did see them as the team that just vacuumed up all the top recruits so of course they dominated. But now there are a few other teams that are more in the hunt, esp. S Carolina. I agree re the Olympic team issues, but note how many WNBA stars have come from U Conn, far more than from any other college. That says a lot about the quality of players who have been at U Conn over the years. I think it's pretty natural to have a bit of negative feeling about another team that is so dominant, and perhaps envy is a part of that. But here's another perspective that I find myself wondering about. How do the 11 Pac 12 teams that are not Stanford feel about Stanford? Do they see us the same way we see U Conn? Or does Tara's supportive relationship to so many of the Pac-12 coaches mitigate that?
