Raiders imploding. Carr not starting.
Cards: Buddy Baker, maybe their best player, on IR. Always plays well vs SF.
Raft of Niner stories in Chron this week. Silver won’t use the name “Las Vegas.” He’s an Oaktown/Cal Guy and a very good guy. Go Bears!
f****** spell check. BUDDA Baker.
Raiders are one of the most poorly run franchises in NFL. Been largely irrelevant for decades. Carr will have plenty of options. There are a lot of teams with mediocre to poor QBs. NE, NYJ, Pitt, Tenn, Indy, Hou,Wash, Car, NO, AtL. Rams. (If Stafford retires).
Also, Tua back in protocol. I hope in the offseason he sees a neurologist and gets a thorough exam etc. This is, I believe, his third time this year. That is concerning.
And yet, none of those teams took a flyer on Garappolo after last season. Heck, even with his injury history, I would take Jimmy G. over Carr.
Yup. Jets or Panthers would be crazy not to bring Jimmy on board next year. ATL and NO should as well. Houston could also consider him, though don’t think he would do great with Lovie smith. Jimmy is the perfect “get decent QB play now while you draft your future QB” kind of guy.
Denver and Cleveland are married to their bad QBs for the foreseeable future and their only hope is to try to make it work.
