The mental health crisis clearly falls under the Provost’s (not really rising up to the President) responsibility.  Apparently Stanford has four open positions that it is struggling to fill, which is unsurprising given how much in demand mental health professionals are at the moment, and how limited the supply is.

More broadly, Provost Drell is really going to have to figure out the “Stanford hates fun” problem, and so far, the promise to hire more administrators to streamline permitting seems Counterproductive.

I agree but it was MTL who committed to boost resources and then didn't follow through to make sure it happened. Both MTL & Drell need to go
