According to Massey, UConn’s projected SOS is 2. Stanford’s is 5, South Carolina’s is 7.
Tennessee was ranked 5th in the AP poll at the start of the season.
Utah is ranked 8th, but are behind Colorado ATM.
PAC-12 has the #1 projected SOS. SEC is a little weak this year with the 5th conference SOS, while the Big East is 6th.
A coach’s job is the play the schedule that prepares them to do the best in March. UConn has to play a strong OOC schedule because of their conference. As someone who grew up in the Northeast, I’m glad to see the Big East conference get stronger.
