Back to basketball it’s cal 32 stabford 30 6 1/2 minutes to go first half

Commentators noted that this is the best half of Cal basketball all season.

My guess is we will hear that a lot over the next seven weeks.
Things like....
This is the best half/game (insert team) has played all season.
This is the best half/game (insert individual opponent) has played all season.
It's great that (insert walk-on player) got a chance to play tonight.
