No one here is saying Purdy won’t lead SF to the Super Bowl. However, the odds are against it happening this year. He does appear to be a different kinda guy but the playoffs are a very difficult environment. Even dominant regular season “champions” are vulnerable to a single misplay under the unrelenting pressure of the playoffs. I am hopeful SF can beat Seattle; however, until Purdy leads the 49ers to a playoff win, he hasn’t.
