I seriously doubt that we wind up near .500 in conference.  I think we can beat Cal at home in our next game, but then after that the schedule looks pretty daunting.  At 14-7 (7-3) Utah and (12-9, 4-6) Colorado where we will be underdogs in both, then at home against 15-5 (6-3) ASU and 17-3 (6-3) Arizona, at 14-6 (6-3) USC, 17-3 (8-1) UCLA, home against 9-12 (4-6) WSU and 12-9 (4-6) UW, and then at Oregon and OSU.

I think we can beat Cal and a 2 or 3 of our last 10 games, leaving us at 6-14 in conference.  To approach .500 we would have to beat Cal and win more than half of our last 10 games, which seems exceedingly unlikely.
