At least one NFL coach who's team said Purdy was off their draft board, now says he would be a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

If you don't subscribe to TA or otherwise don't want a summary, here's mine.
This team didn't believe what Purdy did in college could translate to the NFL level based on his combine measurables. It didn't believe he was mobile enough based on his 40 time. It didn't believe he was tall enough to see the field and avoid having his passes batted down. It thought his hands were too small to avoid being a fumble risk.
Facts:
- Purdy had a top 10-second 40 split time at combine (this team didn't pay attention to such a detail that suggests his legs are an asset)
- Purdy has had very few balls batted down (meaning his 6ft and change height is not a liability for him)
- Purdy has no fumbles in the the NFL so far (meaning his smaller hand size has not been a liability)
Purdy does have exceptional ability to translate play concepts from white board to field, see things clearly, move defenders with his eyes, make decisions quickly, and is fully capable of making every throw he needs to make.
To me, these latter traits are more important than the physical ones, and probably more rare to possess.
