What do the Niners do? What should they do? First, gather the facts of course, but I don't see how he can play on Sunday.

I'm not an expert, but the article confused me. It cites assault, but doesn't cite battery. I believe misdemeanor domestic violence without a charge of battery doesn't involve actual violence, but threats of violence. There doesn't appear to be a charge of battery, and yet the article says she was thrown to the ground. So I'm sure there's more information to come later.
