What's odd to me is that the Eagles are only a two point favorite. Given the logistics and timing and the matchup challenges, I would have figured more. And Sunday will be the first time since before the 49er winning streak that the Niners weren't favored.

The Niners have a challenge facing mobile, running quarterbacks. Their success rate against scrambling quarterbacks is only 26th in the league. Hope they're game planning for a mobile Jalen Hurts. Or possibly Hurts is still suffering from his ankle injury.

They certainly are preparing for Hurts.  Problem is, it’s hard to account for a running QB.

I’m also a bit surprised by the spread. That’s essentially an even spread with Eagles getting home field bump.  I figured it would be 4-5.

Not a betting man. But I’d take the Eagles and lay the 2 1/2.
