PLEASE keep this thread AT LEAST all about NFL, if not Niners specifically....
Umm, it was related specifically to the Niners. Trevor Bauer domestic abuser (accused, suspended, but not charged). Charles Omenihu domestic abuser (accused, arrested, but not charged or suspended, yet).
Trevor Bauer will not play for the Dodgers, his employer of record when the accusations came to light, ever again, and has yet to find someone to pay for his services. Charle Omenihu apparently will play for the Niners on Sunday. Certainly makes some ponder about the differing approaches, but apparently not everyone sees a comparison.
Bauer was suspended by MLB, not the Dodgers. Here's the NFL's policy:
https://nflcommunications.com/Documents/...Policy.pdf
Quote:Players convicted of a crime or subject to a disposition of a criminal proceeding (as defined in this Policy) are subject to discipline. But even if the conduct does not result in a criminal conviction, players found to have engaged in any of the following conduct will be subject to discipline. Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to the following:
* Actual or threatened physical violence against another person, including dating violence, domestic violence, child abuse, and other forms of family violence;
...
Sounds like Omenihu's behavior would qualify.
