Geno did say Tennessee's big quarter over UConn (the 2nd) happened when the UConn players got tired. For one quarter UConn looked, frankly, terrible.
If you look at minutes played we are not using more depth in any one game than most other schools. However, different bench players play in different games--almost as if we had specialists for different opponents. But there are rarely more than 7 players in double digit minutes. There are several Pac 12 schools that routinely give 8-9 players double digit minutes, but we are not among them. But over several games you will see more of our players being used--just not all at the same time.
