Apropos of nothing, did Trevor Bauer ever find another employer?

PLEASE keep this thread AT LEAST all about NFL, if not Niners specifically....

Umm, it was related specifically to the Niners. Trevor Bauer domestic abuser (accused, suspended, but not charged). Charles Omenihu domestic abuser (accused, arrested, but not charged or suspended, yet). 

Trevor Bauer will not play for the Dodgers, his employer of record when the accusations came to light, ever again, and has yet to find someone to pay for his services. Charle Omenihu apparently will play for the Niners on Sunday. Certainly makes some ponder about the differing approaches, but apparently not everyone sees a comparison.

Bauer was suspended by MLB, not the Dodgers.  Here's the NFL's policy:

Players convicted of a crime or subject to a disposition of a criminal proceeding (as defined in this Policy) are subject to discipline. But even if the conduct does not result in a criminal conviction, players found to have engaged in any of the following conduct will be subject to discipline. Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to the following:
* Actual or threatened physical violence against another person, including dating violence, domestic violence, child abuse, and other forms of family violence;
...

Sounds like Omenihu's behavior would qualify.

Omehihu hasn’t been “found” to have engaged in anything.  There are allegations. Have any of us read the police report? Are any of us in the DAs office? What about the statements of the people involved. Anybody read those? 

This is not a situation, such as occurred years ago with Aldon Smith, who was a repeat offender As far as I know, Omehihu has not been accused before of such acts.

My response has nothing to do with the fact that he’s a 49er. It has to do with the fact that we have become so quick to immediately judge without knowing any of the facts other than what is splashed on the news. And those often turn out to be wrong.

I don’t think there’s anybody on this board who knows what happened or what the situation is. So perhaps we should wait to pass judgment on Omenihu and upon the 49ers response.
