Agree. But it doesn’t change what a poor half he had. Part of the problem relating to the quarterback injuries is the Eagles have consistently had somebody running free at the quarterback. Which is a blocking scheme issue.
Course they also have had no help from the referees. Johnson, for example, got hit on the head. No call. McCaffrey got hit late. No call. Meanwhile Jimmie Ward brushes a guy on a third down and 10 and they get the penalty call.
Then there's getting blocked into the kicker.
The NFL has spoken.
I had the same thought. It sure looked like he was pushed into the kicker.
That being said, a few blown calls aren’t the difference here.

When those blown calls result in extending a drive that was otherwise stopped, I respectfully disagree. Niners committed enough stupid penalties on their own, but the refs had an impact on the final score. Perhaps not the outcome, but for sure the final score.
