Well, South Carolina did pull away in the fourth. Not sure if I am happy or sad about that. It is probably better for Stanford that South Carolina win, given that it would have to go on a long losing streak to lose its #1 seed, and this at least gives UConn another loss and makes Stanford look better as the only team to compete with South Carolina this year. And Geno throwing a water bottle on the court was something of a low for him--although he has had quite a few lows.
Now next week's game of LSU at South Carolina (Sunday 11am) looms large. I expect South Carolina to dismantle the overrated tigers. I am hoping for a 30 point blowout, so severe that LSU with 1 loss looks worse than other teams with more losses. We shall see.
