Ingram as a sophomore averages 27 min, 9.8 p/g, 5.7 r/g, and 3.6 assists per game for a team that is under .500. He is a 39.7% shooter and a 31.8% three point shooter.
In 2020/21 Jaquez, as a sophomore, averaged 35 min, 12.3 p/g, 6.1 rebounds per game, and 1.7 assists per game for a team that was a whisker away from winning a national title. He was a 48.6% shooter and a 39.4% three point shooter.
Yeah, Jaquez is better now, but he was also better at the same stage in development. Ingram had a better freshman year statistically than Jaquez, but while Jaquez got better each year from his freshman to senior year, Ingram has been flat (and in fact his scoring is down).
