Had it on. Can't say we watched.

We are NOT a good defensive team.  How much of this is scheme and how much is talent is hard to see at this point.  At one point I thought Haase was a good hire, now he has proved himself a disaster.  We cleaned house in Football, time to clean house in Basketball.

Agreed on defense.  Most of the previous few seasons when we struggled on offense, we played pretty good defense--arguably elite defense for a couple of seasons. Lately our defense has been pretty bad.  

I watched the first half of the game last night (not worth staying up past my usual bedtime for a team going nowhere).  Against the best three-point shooting team in the P-10, Haase had us constantly sagging off of perimeter players.  That led to a bunch of open shots.  That strategy is fine against a bad shooting team, but you can't lay off of good shooters.

Fingers crossed we're down to our last 5 game with Haase as coach.  Then they can promote Haase to AD, promote Muir to university president (at least he hasn't committed scientific fraud), and hire a good MBB coach.
