I agree with Deejaatee and gailtate - it's time to look forward to March Madness. And while the season up to now has had some frustrations, it has provided a really high level of competition, excitement, & entertainment.
The gauntlet that Stanford has been through should have them well prepared. In 7 of their last 8 games, they have gone up against teams that, according to the latest Bracketology, are projected to be seeded 6 (Arizona), 10 (USC), 4 (UCLA), 5 (Colorado), 2 (Utah), 12 (Oregon), and 4(UCLA again). I'm not sure that any team other than South Carolina could have survived that stretch much, if any, better than Stanford did.
The women's tournament used to be very predictable. Anticipating who would make the Final 4 was not that difficult. I'm looking forward to a lot of great competition and and more "madness" than ever before.
