All this talk about being humble and gracious. Some of you old folks need to get a grip. This is a fan board. Of course I stand by my position and will defend my position re: Oregon post. Stanford scored more than 60 pts but the offense was still anemic. I didn’t think I would have to further defend that post after the UCLA game to be honest.
Edited: I previously mentioned my stance on player minutes after Haley played 50 minutes in the Colorado game where I called it unethical (that was before my Oregon post). I mention it all the time because it’s a topic I have thought a lot about for years. Before the Lebron Cavs/Golden State series and how I could predict the outcome of those games based on whether Ty Lue was disciplined enough to give Lebron and Kyrie a little rest before the 4th. And I’ve thought about it in other games too. Derek Fisher overworking Nneka and Chelsea Gray and the cumulative effect that had year end. And my conclusion is that it leads to mostly bad outcomes. Player injury, player exhaustion but mostly a players inability to reach peak performance during winning time.
