And from our usernames, I'm younger than you (and most folks around here), but squarely in the 81 etc. camp that incisive analysis need not include divisive language.

And yet it was a “longtime poster” who started the name-calling and then implied that to apologize would be “PC”.  Gee, it’s a good thing that wasn’t “divisive language.”

Sorry mods, it looks like some “good ol boy” favoritism is showing.

Look, everyone is frustrated because this team hasn’t played up to its very high potential yet. There are some excellent observations and points on this thread. There are also some axes to grind. I think we’re smart enough to take the good with the bad.
