This game will tell if all the talk about the new tourney ready team is true. This is not a great match-up for us. They might do what USC did to us. We did beat USC the second time around, so maybe we have learned how to cope better with that style. I (of course) hate the sort of team Miss is - gather all the transfers you can, mostly upperclassmen who you know are good, and have them play super aggressive, physical defense.
I usually really enjoy watching the "other" game when we get NCAA games at home. I left at the half because I was not enjoying watching the ugly basketball, which was mostly a game of will the officials call a foul on this play or not. WCBB is not the high flying stuff that can draw fans with sheer athleticism. It needs to flow and not look like a rugby scrum with scores that don't break 50 or even fans who enjoy basketball will be turned off.
