We had so many chances to be in and win this game. I’d bet 20+ missed layups in total and costly turnovers not just at the end. I was also mentally prepared for the loss. There was no indication the past month this team was going to make a deep run. Sad for the seniors although none of them seemed to want to will us to victory. Remember Lexi Hull last year in the 2nd round. Seniors should step up.
Maybe this uncharacteristic loss will cause the coaches to more seriously look at our inept offensive schemes and what it’s gonna take to be better there consistently.
