So here it is now--just what I was going to post:I saw much of the game and agree with you. The defense looked strong but not sumo. Part of the reason may be the officiating--the game was being called very closely. Four players in that game had 4 fouls.
I think Colorado might give Duke (and potentially Iowa) a bit of trouble--more than expected, with their stifling defense. Wouldn't be surprised to see CO in the Sweet Sixteen.

Post-game. I only saw most of the fourth quarter and OT, but it seems like both teams played very good D. I certainly have no affinity for the way Colorado typically plays, but what I saw in the part I saw of this game looked different. CO played like a real basketball team--not a rugby team. I saw pretty crisp passing and good cuts on the offensive end and tough, but not what I would call rough, defense. Only saw 1/3 of the game, though. Will be interested in how they do against the Hawkeyes.
Watching Miami take down Indiana I saw a game that was probably called too closely. It seemed toward the end that every interior shot resulted in a foul. 5 players had 4 fouls and 1 player fouled out.
Makes me wonder how Mississippi will do if they come up against an officiating crew like one of those two. Will they be able to adjust like Colorado or will they wither when they are not allowed to bludgeon people in the paint?
