USA Today's sports section (Tuesday) has an interesting comment about Brink's great effort against Mississippi and our coaching staff. I had trouble posting the link, but here is the text.
Heading: "Post players establish their dominance; Hokies roll"
Text: "No 1 seed Stanford's 54-49 loss to Ole Miss would have been far more lopsided if not for Cameron Brink's spectacular effort. Brink had 13 rebounds and seven blocks - three on just one play! - and she almost single-handedly got Stanford back into a game it trailed by 13 midway through the third quarter. But Brink didn't get enough help offensively or, quite frankly, from Stanford's coaching staff."
I thought that last sentence was quite interesting.
The front page photo did not correctly name our players. There is a photo of Mississippi guard Marquesha Davis driving to the basket against Haley and Betts and the photo caption reads: ".....Davis drives to the basket against Stanford guard Indya Nivar during the second half Sunday night."
