Getting rid of Johnson is such a stupid yes stupid move.  As in we don’t need no stupid speed

Don’t give up on Johnson yet.  If no one signs him, he may be on the Sacramento-San Francisco express this season.

First day reactions:

1) Bryce Johnson is 27, went 2 for 18 last year, struck out 12 times in 42 spring ABs, hit .310, no power whatsoever (4 doubles, no HRs or triples). He's Herb Washington. 

2) Best stat of the day: No errors.

3) Second best stat of the day: SF Giants pitchers threw for 16 strikeouts.

4) Worst stat of the day: SF Giants batters struck out 16 times.

5) Yankees stole two bases off of calm, dominant, former Gold Glover Robert Perez.

6) Our cleanup hitter Pederson had a walk and struck out 3 times in three at bats.

7) Piscotty was released at his request.

8) Luke Jackson is on the 15 day DL. I thought he was going to be on the 60 day DL.
