It is a brobdingnagian job that has been evolving over the last 50 years, not just the last few. Just in the recruiting space alone, think of all the things that have changed...AAU coach involvement, scouting and tapping international talent, "one and dones", contact rules and viewing tournaments, social media, now the transfer portal and NIL. To be a great head coach, you have to do all of it AND be able to build a team that plays together and wins. Crazy difficult.
