I suspect this second act earned him the suspension.
Maybe this is all just “who Draymond is” but at the very least it was unwise. It also most probably made this a league issue and forced the NBA to act.
Come on Dray, you’re too important to this team and to this season to provoke the league into action like this. If Sacramento was trying to “poke the bear” it worked. More specifically YOU let it work.
