SF Chronicle today had a story that claimed two sources told them Betts transferred due to playing time, which is consistent with the tweets from her mother, so I think it is very clear by now that playing time was the major issue, no matter what excuses get tossed out. What did she expect coming onto a team with so many very good and experienced posts including one All-American?  I think she should have played more at the end of the season but her minutes were not egregiously low given the post depth.  Next year she would have played a lot more, probably starts.  No coach can honestly promise playing time or starting.  A recruiting ranking means nothing.  You don't get to jump the line because you were ranked highly.
