No, my post is 100% factually on the bullseye. I just watched JJ Redick on ESPN's First Take say essentially exactly what I said, plus add on more that is also 100% fact and further supports my statement. That is Sabonis and the Kings have been goading Draymond through 2 games and not having fouls called against them. He said it appears the NBA is allowing the Kings to get away with far too much through two games, and added he is NOT someone who ever complained about officiating, adding this is the first time he believes he has. And the idea that Draymond deserves a suspension because of "who he is," is all but admits he has a target on his back and is held to a higher standard that others. 

In Game 1, the Warriors were down one in final minute. Curry grabbed a rebound. What did Sabonis do? He pulled Draymond to the floor. Then, when Draymond tried getting up to join the play - again with the Warriors down 1 point with the ball attempting to take the lead and less then 24 seconds left on clock - Sabonis wrapped his arm around Green's chest. No foul was called, and Andrew Wiggins missed a wide open corner 3.

Draymond Green is a fiery and emotional player who wouldn't be a 4-time NBA champion if he didn't play the way he does. He's never hurt anyone and the idea that Sabonis has a bruised sternum and is "Questionable" for Game 3 is just Kings gamesmanship. If the NBA was credible, Sabonis would be suspended for Game 3 because he knowingly poked a bear.

You really should watch JJ Redick's comments on this matter.

Your comment is an opinion based on your interpretation.  It is not “100” factually accurate in any place except your mind.  I don’t really care what Reddick said. And I’m sure if I cared enough  I could find many others who opined otherwise. So again, not facts,  opinions. There’s a difference.

As for my opinion, Green has a history of cheap  shots. So, sure he’s looked at more closely.  He’s earned that “right.” I also don’t doubt that he was “goaded.” He should be smart enough on the court (he is a very bright guy) to know he’s being goaded and not allow it to happen. Instead, he takes actions that are detrimental to the team and in fact selfish.

He stomped on a guy. Now I don’t think you know how hard he stomped because I don’t think it was your chest that he stomped on.

If the NBA suspended guys for “poking a bear” they would be playing at the end of the day with ball boys. Woofing, getting in peoples face, etc. is commonplace every minute stuff in the NBA. Unfortunately, Green takes it to an extreme and loses his cool at  times leading to things like this. But I don’t know if there’s anybody that loves to “poke the bear“ more than Green. So you live by the sword, you die by the sword.

Green has been a key player in the Warriors success. No question. He’s also somebody that if he played for anyone other than Warriors, I’d dislike intensely.

Did he continue playing the rest of the game? Yes, he did. If a foot really stomped on him to injure, he wouldn't have continued playing and at minimum would have been taken to locker room for further evaluation., which he was not.

The replay from the baseline makes it clear Draymond put more weight on his left leg than his right when he pushed his foot on Sabonis. I happen to be caring for a stroke survivor for the last several months. Every day I assess weight bearing on each leg so can recognize it rather easily now. So it is clear Green intentionally held back and what he could have done.

The NBA's statement makes it clear the punishment is punitive because it tries to rationalize a punitive punishment. And JJ Redick's comments demonstrate Sabonis was absolutely doing things that are not allowed in the rules. You can argue he wasn't trying to get Green to react and get tossed, but what would be the motivation otherwise for tackling and holding him down as in Game 1, grabbing his leg, and bumping into him on baseline (the time Green was called for the foul until rescinded after a Kerr challenge) as in Game 2?

You know who Green is. You know how he reacts.  What other explanation is there to be doing these things specifically to him? 

It all adds up to the specific bolded points I made technically being opinion, but being backed by very strong support for them in fact being true.

If Green put all his weight on Sabonis, he should have been suspended for the rest of the playoffs. That is an opinion.

The only “facts” are:

1. Sabonis grabbed Greens leg
2.  Green responded by stomping (to what degree is a question) on Sabonis.
3. Sabonis received a flagrant 1
4. Green received a flagrant 2. 
5. Green was ejected. Sabonis continued to play.
6. Green has been punished before for similar acts.
7. Green has been suspended for game 3.

The rest is opinion.  We disagree.
